Frank Coppola

Frank Coppola was executed in Virginia on August 10, 1982, the first execution in the state after the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the death penalty to resume in 1976. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported the execution briefly, in a 2018 article looking back at that history.
