Ford Ramsbarger
Ford Ramsbarger was held in the jail at Eldora, Iowa, together with his brother. A June 1885 report in the Connecticut Western News says masked lynchers took the brothers from the jail and shot them many times. The Milford Chronicle, also in June 1885, says masked men took them from the jail and killed them, and that they were riddled with bullets. Neither account says whether jail staff resisted, gave up the keys, or handed the men over.
