Floyd Derry
Floyd Derry, 78, died on January 21, 2017, while held at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution in Tecumseh, Nebraska, where he had been since 1994. The Department of Correctional Services said his death was believed to be from natural causes and that he had long-term medical issues, and that he had been under medical care. The cause of death had not been determined when the reports were published, and authorities were awaiting autopsy results. A grand jury was to review his death under Department of Correctional Services policy.
