Felicia Phillips
Felicia Phillips, 46, was held at the El Paso County Jail in Colorado Springs when she was found unresponsive on her bunk on the night of May 14, 2026. Deputies and jail medical staff gave aid until emergency crews from AMR and the Colorado Springs Fire Department took over, and she was pronounced dead at 11:17 p.m. The Sheriff's Office said an initial investigation did not indicate self-harm, assault or foul play. The Coroner's Office has not yet released a cause or manner of death, and the sheriff ordered an in-depth investigation.
