Federico Reyes
Federico Reyes, 39, died on December 15, 2016, while held at the Webb County Jail in Texas. The Sheriff's Department said he was found hanging in his segregated cell during a gap between scheduled cell checks, and that he had shown no prior sign he intended to take his own life. The department's account of the checks and of his prior condition has not been independently confirmed, and an investigation was continuing. Police said the investigation would also look into possible other victims.
