Evan Held
Evan Held, 30, died on December 15, 2021, while he was held at the Bexar County Jail in San Antonio, Texas. According to WOAI, deputies cut him down in his cell on the morning of that day, and he was pronounced dead at 9:49 a.m. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office said he was attempting suicide, but the medical examiner had not yet performed an autopsy, so the cause and manner of his death were still unconfirmed at the time of reporting. The death also appears in the Texas Office of the Attorney General's custodial death report.
