Eugene A. Mauwee

Eugene Mauwee, a 72-year-old American Indian man, died on February 6, 2016, at Pershing General Hospital in Lovelock, Nevada, while in the custody of the Nevada Department of Corrections. He had been held at Lovelock Correctional Center. According to the department, the Pershing County Sheriff's Coroner responded and an autopsy was to be scheduled. The department's mortality list gives no cause of death, and no cause or manner had been established in the reports available.
