Esteban Mosqueda-Romero

Esteban Mosqueda-Romero died at Hays State Prison in Georgia. The cause given was diabetic ketoacidosis, a treatable complication of diabetes that had not been diagnosed before his death. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported alleged neglect in his medical care, and said the same physician oversaw his care and that of another man who died at the prison. The article's account of that neglect is the allegation that is in dispute.
