Essie Bostric

Winston County, Mississippi

Essie Bostric was held in the custody of the sheriff at Louisville, Mississippi. Newspapers reported in June 1905 that about forty masked men took Essie from the sheriff and lynched them. Several papers, including the Rosebud County News, gave the same account of the mob.
