Ernest Tope
Ernest Tope, 58, died on August 30, 2011, while held at the New Castle Correctional Facility, a state prison in Indiana. He had been moved to the facility in April of that year. Amy Lanum, a media liaison for the Indiana Department of Corrections, said the cause of death was end-stage lung cancer.
