Ernest Leonard Ortiz
Ernest Leonard Ortiz, 56, of Grover Beach, died in September 2019 while held at the San Luis Obispo County Jail in California. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office said his death was being investigated as a possible drug overdose. He was pronounced dead shortly afterward. As of February 2020, the coroner had not released a report, and the investigation was still ongoing.
