Ernest Gent
Ernest Gent, 70, was held at the Alachua County Jail in Gainesville, Florida. According to the sheriff's office, jail staff found him ill, and infirmary medical staff checked on him early one morning before he later lost consciousness and stopped breathing. He was declared dead at a UF Health emergency room. Sheriff's investigators say the death appears to be from natural causes, but the Medical Examiner's Office has yet to complete an autopsy to confirm the official cause.
