Erin Finney
Erin Finney, 24, was held at the Volusia County Branch Jail in Florida. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said she was found in a jail shower stall on June 19, 2016, with a plastic trash bag wrapped around her head, and that she died by suicide. She died on June 29 at Halifax Health Medical Center. Her public defender described her as bright and articulate, and said she showed no warning signs when they met her days after she was held.
