Erik Adam Bodie, 41, was a self-employed business owner from Martinez, Georgia. He was found dead in his cell at the Columbia County jail in February 2023, on a Friday night. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said the death appeared to be a suicide and that an autopsy was scheduled.
