Eric Williston died while held at the Choctaw County Jail in Oklahoma on January 25, 2024. Sheriff Terry Park said he was found in his cell that Thursday morning. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was called in, and the official cause of death is pending. Sheriff Terry Park said the death appears to be a suicide.
