Eric Scott Branch

Eric Scott Branch, 47, was executed by lethal injection at Florida State Prison in Raiford, Florida, on February 22, 2018, while in the custody of the Florida Department of Corrections. Reports say that as the drugs were given he shouted and struggled on the gurney, and one account says he screamed accusations at those carrying out the execution. A Department of Corrections spokeswoman said there was no indication that his screams and struggling resulted from the injection procedure.
