Eric Nelson
Eric Nelson, 28, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, died in December 2021 after he was taken into custody and transported toward the Bogalusa City Jail. According to Louisiana State Police, he complained of breathing problems during the transport, was evaluated by EMS, and was taken to a local hospital, where he died while receiving treatment. A Taser was reportedly used during his arrest. Louisiana State Police are investigating his death, and the manner of death is listed as pending.
