Eric Mitchell
Eric Mitchell, 32, was riding as a passenger in a fire truck carrying people held at Terrell County State Prison in Sasser, Georgia, when it crashed on June 22, 2022, at Callis Road and Sellars Road. Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Raul Mejia said Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle. The State Patrol said its investigation into the crash is ongoing.
