Eric Caposole
Eric Caposole, 22, died on June 20, 2011, at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick, New Jersey, where he was held. Officials, through the prosecutor's office, say he died by suicide by hanging in his cell and was pronounced dead at a hospital. A county grand jury later indicted two corrections officers responsible for cell checks, charging that they falsely recorded having completed their inspections. Both officers were suspended without pay.
