Enofrio Baca
Enofrio Baca was held in the jail at Socorro, New Mexico, after being brought there from San Marcial. According to the New Mexican, reprinted in the Cheyenne Transporter, a mob took him from the jail early the next morning and hanged him. The paper reported that he had said, on his way home from Mexico, that he expected to be lynched.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. The New Mexican reported that a mob took Baca from the Socorro jail early the next morning and hanged him.
