Emilio Avalos
Emilio Avalos, 40, was held on death row at San Quentin State Prison in Northern California. Lt. Sam Robinson, a spokesman for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, said he was declared dead on the evening of November 1, 2017. The department said an autopsy was pending to determine the cause of death, and the manner of his death has not been determined.
