Elving Lopez, 53, of Cleveland, became sick while held at the Cuyahoga County Jail on September 12, 2023, and was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office said it would perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of his death. As of the reporting, no cause had been announced.
