Elliott
Elliott, a Black man, was executed by hanging at Chester, South Carolina, on December 6, 1895, under the authority of the state. He was one of several men hanged at Chester that day. The Evening Bulletin reported that all the condemned men, Elliott among them, confessed before they were hanged.
