Elias Villanueva, Jr.

Elias Villanueva, who was 74 according to a Texas Department of Criminal Justice death list, died on July 1, 2020, at the Hospital Galveston Unit in Galveston County, Texas. State records show Elias had been moved there from the Estelle Unit in Huntsville on June 30, the day before. The Texas Attorney General's custodial death report and a KWTX report from July 28, 2020 both list the death, but neither gives a cause or manner of death for Elias.
