Eli Snedham

Eli Sneedlam was hanged at Holly Springs, Marshall County, Mississippi, on May 24, 1876, according to the Daily Free Press. The paper reported that about 6,000 people watched the execution. The Tribune and the Connecticut Western News also report a hanging at Holly Springs before a crowd of about six thousand.
