Eldon Lee Jackson
Eldon Lee Jackson, 61, was held in solitary confinement at the Harris County Jail in Texas. Early on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, guards found him unconscious in his cell and took him to Ben Taub Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Harris County Sheriff's Office described his death as an apparent suicide and said a guard had checked on him less than 20 minutes before he was found. The Texas Rangers are investigating the death.
