Elamir Elsayed, 22, died in December 2025 at Los Angeles General Medical Center, where he had been taken while in the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Officials said the incident took place around December 10, 2025, and that he continued to receive treatment at the hospital before he died there.
