Edward Tomas Moore
Edward Tomas Moore was held at the El Paso County Jail Annex, where he had been in custody since September 2025. On May 8, 2026, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said he appeared to have a seizure in his housing pod, and EMS took him to Providence East Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office described a medical emergency, possibly a seizure, while an initial news report said the cause had not yet been identified. The death is being investigated by the sheriff's office, the Texas Rangers and the Texas Commission on Jail Standards.
