Edward Henry
Edward Henry, a 54-year-old man, died on June 18, 2025, at the Douglas County Department of Corrections in Omaha, where he had been held since the day before. He was taken to Nebraska Medicine and pronounced dead there. Omaha Police said body-worn camera footage shows officers struck his wrists during the arrest and denied using a neck restraint, but the footage has not been released, and the ACLU of Nebraska has called for its release. An autopsy was ordered, and a grand jury later returned a No True Bill, finding no probable cause that a crime was committed in connection with the death.
