Edward Henry
Edward Henry, 54, died on June 18, 2025, at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, a day after he was booked into the Douglas County Department of Corrections. The Omaha Police Department said body-worn camera footage shows officers struck his wrists during his arrest and denied using a neck restraint, but the footage has not been released. The ACLU of Nebraska has called for its release, and the autopsy is expected to determine the cause and manner of death. A grand jury later returned a No True Bill, finding no probable cause that a crime was committed in connection with the death.
