Edgard Fuentes, 65, was held at the Brevard County Jail Complex in Florida while awaiting trial. His cellmate found him slumped in their general population cell around midnight on January 20, 2018, with a sheet tied around his neck and fastened to a bed frame. Palm Bay police spokesman Lt. Steve Bland said he hanged himself. The sheriff's office had not released information about the death or returned press calls at the time of reporting.
