Edgar Bilyeu, 78, was held at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Missouri. The Missouri Department of Corrections said he was pronounced dead at Capital Regional Medical Center at 5:30 p.m. on October 17, 2025. The department said no autopsy would be performed.
