Eddie Juarez Fuentes, 36, died on October 25, 2014, while held at the Monterey County Jail, where he had been for about four months. Assistant District Attorney Berkley Brannon said he appears to have died of a drug overdose after a plastic bag was found in his stomach. An investigation is underway into how drugs got into the jail. Toxicology results were expected in about two weeks.
