Eddie Johnson
Eddie Johnson was a former NBA player, drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 1977 out of Auburn, who played ten seasons and averaged 15.1 points a game. The Florida Department of Corrections records that he died on October 25, 2020, while held at Santa Rosa Annex in Milton, Florida, and recorded the manner of death as natural. A mortuary said an undisclosed illness led to his death and gave November 3, 2020 as the date, which differs from the department's record. He was buried at Weirsdale Community Cemetery in Florida.
