Eddie

Eddie, a 32-year-old father from rural Berkeley County, loved hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and making people laugh, his cousin Cassandra Gaskins said. He died in a riot at Lee Correctional Institution in Bishopville, South Carolina, which left seven people dead and 22 seriously injured. Gaskins said the family is grieving and that proper security could have prevented the deaths.
