Ed Campbell

Ed Campbell, a Black man, was one of six men hanged together at Fort Smith, Arkansas, in 1887, according to a Fort Worth Daily Gazette report published that September. The executioner, George Maledon, later recalled the hangings and described Campbell as a young man, though he gave no date for them.
