Earl King Davis
Earl King Davis, 55, died in August 2018 while held at the South Mississippi Correctional Institution in Leakesville, Mississippi. The Mississippi Department of Corrections said he was pronounced dead at a hospital in Vicksburg. An autopsy has been ordered, and the cause and manner of his death have not been determined in the reporting. His death was one of 15 deaths in the department's custody that month, and the governor said the FBI was investigating those deaths.
