Dylan Baylacq, 21, was described in a family fundraiser organized by Heather Richardson as loving, generous, kind and adventurous, someone who was like a son to the family and a brother to their children. The Marin County Sheriff's Office said he was found hanging in his cell at the Marin County Jail around 2:30 am on October 1, 2023, during a routine check by a deputy.
