Dusaun Brown
Dusaun Brown was held at Lieber Correctional Institution in Ridgeville, South Carolina, when he was stabbed there on July 16, 2015, according to an arrest warrant. The Department of Corrections asked the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) to investigate his death. In July 2019, SLED agents arrested another man held at the prison, whom the warrant names as the attacker; that is the state's claim and has not yet been tested in court. The First Circuit Solicitor's Office will prosecute the case.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody. SLED, per an arrest warrant, says another inmate stabbed Brown at Lieber Correctional Institution in July 2015.
