Douglas Turner
Douglas Turner, 31, died at Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge on July 8, 2003. Prison officials said he appeared to have taken his own life by hanging in his cell, which guards found during a routine round. The Powell County coroner pronounced him dead, and an autopsy was ordered. Details of the death were still under investigation, and his family was expected to handle his funeral; his mother lives in Glendive.
