Douglas Koch
Douglas Koch, 65, was found dead inside the Slidell City Jail in Slidell, Louisiana, on a Sunday morning in February 2026. The Slidell Police Department said he appeared to have had a medical emergency while sleeping and that he was housed alone in his cell. Police said all indications pointed to natural causes, while their Criminal Investigations Division continues to investigate. The St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office will perform an autopsy to determine the official cause and manner of death.
