Douglas Grubis

Douglas Grubis, 43, died on January 27, 2023, while held at Ventress Correctional Facility in Barbour County, Alabama. The Alabama Department of Corrections said he was found unresponsive in his cell and taken to the prison health care unit, where he could not be revived. The department said it is investigating the circumstances of his death, and no cause or manner of death has been given.
