Douglas Belt, 54, died on April 13, 2016, at the El Dorado Correctional Facility in El Dorado, Kansas, where he was held on death row. The Kansas Department of Corrections said medical staff at the facility pronounced him dead. The department's account gives no cause or manner of death.
