Donald Sinclair, 60, was from Fairfield, Alabama. On October 13, 2025, he was found disoriented in his cell at the Birmingham City Jail and was taken to UAB Hospital, where he died four days later, on October 17. The Jefferson County Coroner attributed his death to a medical event, and Birmingham police said they were investigating.
