Donald Maier
Donald Maier, 62, died at Waupun Correctional Institution in Waupun, Wisconsin, on February 22, 2024, according to the state Department of Corrections, whose spokesperson Kevin Hoffman confirmed the death. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office and the county medical examiner investigated the death. A later Dodge County Sheriff's Department announcement about investigations into four deaths at the prison listed a February 2024 death and said those investigations had concluded, and officials planned to release an overview and identified deficiencies.
