Donald Jones
Donald Jones, 63, died on January 1, 2018, while held at the Shelby County Jail on Poplar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. He was found unresponsive in his bunk in a medical unit of the jail and taken to Regional One, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy, as reported by The Commercial Appeal in 2023, found that his death was caused by an ischemic bowel from a volvulus, a complication of colon cancer he had been diagnosed with.
