Donald Jones
Donald Jones died on October 26, 2025, while held at the Wilkinson County Correctional Facility in Mississippi. The Mississippi Department of Corrections said he was found injured and unresponsive in his cell that afternoon, that staff began life-saving measures while waiting for an ambulance, and that EMS officials pronounced him dead. The Marshall Project, citing prison incident reports, says he was beaten to death by his cellmate. The department and Management & Training Corporation said they are investigating the circumstances of his death.
