Donald Coffel
Donald Coffel, 68, of Groton, Connecticut, had been treated for cancer at L&M Hospital before he died at the Corrigan Correctional Center on April 25, 2025, according to the Connecticut Department of Correction. The department said the death is not considered suspicious and that the medical examiner will determine the cause. State police were notified, and the department's security division is reviewing the circumstances.
