Dominique Gail Worrell

Dominique Gail Worrell, 26, was held at Southern Correctional Institution in Montgomery County, North Carolina, when she died on August 26, 2015. Correction officers found her hanging in her cell that afternoon, and she was declared dead about 20 minutes later. The state Department of Public Safety said she died by suicide and that the case was turned over to police.
