Dominique Cole
Dominique Cole, 37, had two daughters, and his uncle said he had been taken from the family twice. He died in June 2025 at Wilcox State Prison in Georgia, weeks before his scheduled release, and his family says the Georgia Department of Corrections had moved him there from a mental health facility days earlier. His father said the warden told him another person held there had attacked Dominique, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab is working to determine how he died. The Department of Corrections said the investigation is ongoing, while the family says its requests for information have gone unanswered.
